P2 Creative Writing Course

Dear Teachers,
The P2 Creative Writing Course began on 15 January 09. It will run for 18 sessions, once a week on every Thursday 12.30 - 1.30 p.m. The course is expected to end on 21 May 09. The course will develop pupils' writing skills so that they will be able to write more creatively. The course is co-ordinated by Learning Wings. All the P2 pupils are involved in this programme except those whose parents did not give their consent. The course fees for all needy pupils will be paid through the School Opportunity Fund. Pupils with edusave account will pay their edusave. The rest of the pupils will pay either by cash or cheque.

The course has been proceeding smoothly. However, two requests were made by the vendor. One is that the P2 pupils be allowed to leave the hall together with the P1s. This will save time and pupils will have more time for lessons. Two, pupils who opted out of the programme will be led by Ms Puspa to the School Library at 12.30 p.m. Ms Puspa has been informed to do so on Friday, 30 Jan 09.

I will continue to keep teachers informed of the progress of the course. It will also serve to document the EL Programme.
